So. We were bored one friday in the office and talking shop (a bit). I mentioned that in my feckless youth, I once read an article about how every word in the dictionary had been bought as a domain name except for about 4. One of them was www.amniotic.com – which I rushed out to purchase. Come on – this was 1999… we didn’t have Playstations and it was all fields around here.
Anyway, in a fit of wonderment (as my younger colleagues stifled their giggles) I began to wonder what happened to all those domains. Who would buy www.aardwolf.com, or www.bosky.com, or even www.transubstantiation.com and what the hell would they use it for?
So, seeing as Fridays are slow and I need something to fill the last 50 or so of my years, I’m going to riffle through my dictionary, find out what’s at that domain name and let you know via the gift of this blog.
What an absolutely batshit idea, eh?
